1Litre DESCRIPTION BASECOAT READY MIXED COLOURS are suitable for air-drying or oven-baking. Have excellent covering power, and easy application qualities. They are quick drying and have good chemical resistance. They may be used for small repairs or complete surface recoating. MIXING Mix by volume 2 parts of Basecoat Ready Mixed Colour 1 part Basecoat Thinner. Additional Basecoat Thinner may be added if required, however this may reduce the opacity. Stir well and filter before use. SPRAY PRESSURE 50-60 PSI (3-4 bar) at gun. GUN SET-UP 1.4-1.6 Compliant spray gun. APPLICATION Apply 2-3 coats with 5-10 minutes between coats to allow to flash off. The basecoat must be over coated with 2K clear coat within 1 hour of application to ensure inter-coat adhesion. POT LIFE Approximately 24hrs at 20’C. DRYING Touch Dry: 20 minutes.
